ELIGIBILITY

The Honda LPGA Thailand is a fully sanctioned LPGA annual event in Thailand with highest prize money on offer for professional female tournament in Thailand. In present, the tournament is organized by Asian Honda, Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co. Ltd., Thai Honda and IMG.

One (1) Winner playing spot is available through the Honda LPGA Thailand National Qualifiers which is open to all female golfers from Thailand who meet the following qualification criteria:

• All entrants must be Citizens of Thailand:
• All female professionals or amateur golfers with a handicap of 2.0 or less under the handicapping scheme adopted by the recognized authority controlling golf in the country which they elect to enter. The proof of handicap must be valid on the day that the application is submitted, expired proof of handicap will NOT BE ACCEPTED.

*Entry to the Honda LPGA Thailand National Qualifiers is limited based on a first come first served basis.

QUALIFIER ROUND INFORMATION

Dates:

• Registration & Practice Round – 6 January 2025
• 1st Round – 7 January 2025
• Final Round – 8 January 2025

Venue: Siam Country Club Rolling Hills
Time: 1st Tee Time Starts at 07:00 hrs (estimated)

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

The National Qualifiers for the Honda LPGA Thailand 2025 will be played over 36 holes at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills. The one player who returns with the lowest gross score will be invited to play in the Honda LPGA Thailand 2025 under the National Qualifiers invite. In the event of two or more players tying for first place in the Honda LPGA Thailand National Qualifiers during the final round, the tie shall be settled by a playoff (playoff hole to be confirmed). In the event that a playoff is not possible or impractical for play the count-back system shall apply.

The qualifier will run in accordance with the Rules of Golf as specified by the Royal & Ancient Rules Ltd., and include any additional local rules implemented by the Honda LPGA Thailand Organizing Committee.

APPLICATION

The closing date for entry is on 20 December 2024. A copy of the handicap card for amateurs or a copy of the membership card/confirmation letter from the professional golf association for professional golfers and national ID card or proof of nationality must be submitted with the entry form as well. (Documents must be valid on the date application is submitted).

REGISTRATION

Registration will commence on 6 January 2025 at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills.
Note: The Tournament Committee reserves the right to reject any entry without giving any reason.

ENTRY FEE

There will be an entry fee of 3,500 THB. The payment instruction, deadline and payment link will be given to the applicant via email after their application is reviewed. Entry fee payment must be made within the given deadline. Failure to do so will see the names taken out from the draw.

APPROVED BALLS

Only those appearing on the current list of the R&A conforming golf balls may be used: Penalty – Disqualification

CADDIES

Players are allowed to bring their own caddies or hire from Siam Country Club Rolling Hills. Club Caddie fee – THB 1500 per golfer/round (including practice round & cash payment only, tip included). Players are allowed to use their own caddie for a fee of THB 480 per round (including practice round). All caddies are required to carry a top-soil bag to fill in divots.

DRAW

The draw for the qualifying round is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Players shall start at the time and in the order arranged by the Tournament Committee.

CONDUCT

The Tournament Committee may impose a penalty of disqualification for improper behavior or conduct, such as the use of undesirable language and any public display of anger while in the Club’s premises. All players are required to maintain good code of conduct which includes but is not limited to keeping pace of play and fixing divots. Penalties may be imposed at referees and committee’s discretion.

PARENTS AND COACH ATTENDANCE

Parents and coaches will need to pay a fee of THB 2,500 to Siam Country Club Rolling Hills to be allowed on course for the Official Practice Round on 6 January provided they remain strictly on the service road and buggy path. There will be no fee charged for Round 1 and Final Round. Spectators are not allowed to give advice to players during play. A spectator who disregards this ruling may cause the competitor to be disqualified from the tournament, especially if the person has been warned by the tournament officials.

PRACTICE ROUND

The Official Practice Round for the qualifiers will be on 6 January. Practice times will be assigned by the tournament and players will be informed of their practice time by 3 January. (Practice round is not compulsory, if you do not wish to practice on the practice day, please inform the tournament via email).

The Practice Range at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills will be opened for Qualifiers to practice from 6 January.

Special discounted rate is available for those who would like to practice at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills between 31 December 2024 – 5 January 2025 as below:

• Green Fee: Weekday 2,750 THB | Weekend 3,250 THB
• Caddie Fee: 480 THB (Tip excluded)
• Golf Cart: 980 THB
