Pong Primary Medical Receive Medical Equipment including “Negative and Positive Pressure Mask” Medical Innovations by Honda Engineers from Honda LPGA Thailand 2022 Efforts

The contribution was purchased with funds raised from the tournament’s tournament’s National Qualifiers’ registration fees. (Pattaya) – Honda LPGA Thailand 2022, has donated essential medical equipment to Pong Primary Hospital. The donation presentation took place today at the hospital and was officiated by Ms. Manawara Phechpalakon, Marketing General Manager of Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Ms. Winnie Heng, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of IMG Thailand.
The Honda LPGA Thailand 2022 Honda LPGA Thailand 2022 is one of the most successful global tournaments that attracts the attention of golf fans from within the country and abroad. As this world-class tournament has become more successful and popular every year, the organisers always look to give back to the local communities. With funds that were successfully raised from tournament initiatives, the Honda LPGA Thailand were able to purchase medical equipment such as wheelchairs and oxygen concentrators for a neighbouring hospital. Additionally, Honda also donated their innovative powered-air purifying respirator (PAPR) masks. These negative and positive pressure masks were carefully designed and manufactured by the Honda Engineering team to help healthcare workers breathe comfortably when in contact while protecting them from the COVID-19 virus.
Amongst other fundraising efforts by the Honda LPGA Thailand include the annual charity auction, where proceeds will be donated to Siriraj Foundation in Bangkok.
The Honda LPGA Thailand 2022 will take place at Siam Country Club Old Course, Pattaya Chonburi province from March 10-13. To ensure a safe environment, the tournament will adhere to the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Department of Disease Control.
