Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 Invites Golfers to Showcase Thai Fabric Fashion Identity Ahead of Tournament at Siam Country Club Old Course, Pattaya, February 22-25

(Chonburi February 20, 2024) – Five golfers, led by Suvichaya Vinijchaitham, the champion of the Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 National Qualifiers, offered a captivating preview of the upcoming “Honda LPGA Thailand 2024” tournament through a stunning display of contemporary Thai attire in a promotional photoshoot. Alongside Suvichaya, golfers from Japan, including Chisato Iwai and Erika Hara, as well as Mi Hyang Lee from South Korea and Yuting Shi from China, elegantly showcased their style in modern Thai fabric outfits adorned with intricate designs, thus promoting Thai cultural identity. These golfers exhibited this attire ahead of their participation in the highly anticipated tournament, where they will compete alongside a total of 72 global golfers in the ‘Honda LPGA Thailand 2024’ showdown, set to take place from February 22-25 at the Siam Country Club Old Course in Pattaya, Chonburi Province.

Suvichaya, a 17-year-old Thai national team amateur golfer from Khon Kaen province, expressed pride in showcasing Thai identity by wearing traditional Thai fabric alongside world-class golfers. She said, “As a young person, I feel proud to express Thai identity through wearing Thai fabric alongside world-class golfers. Thai fabric has intricated and beautiful designs and can be worn on many occasions. I would like to invite more young people to wear Thai fabric and encourage Thai people to cheer for me and my fellow Thai golfers competing in the tournament.”

Erika Hara, an admired Japanese golfer said, “I feel immensely delighted and impressed to have worn the exquisite and eye-catching Thai fabric attire. Participating in the Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 tournament is a valuable experience because not only do I get to compete with world-class golfers, but also to inspire young people.
