Amy Yang will take a one shot lead over Shanshan Feng and Ariya Jutanugarn into the third round of the Honda LPGA Thailand which is currently underway.
“I was hitting it pretty good again,” Yang said. “I was hitting solid, near the pin, and making some putts out there. Tough part was stay cool on the course, especially we have to play another 18.”
Yang, who entered the round tied for the lead with Jutanguarn, shot a 5-under 67 to take the lead.
Due to a weather delay and the resulting unplayable course conditions on Friday players had to resume their second rounds on Saturday at 7:30 a.m.. The final group, which included Yang and Jutanugarn, did not complete any holes on Friday and played all 18 of their second rounds today.
The third round began at 11:00 a.m.. No groups repaired for the third round. The final group of Yang, Jutanugarn and Sei Young Kim will return to the course at 1:12 local time.
